The auction of cricket players for IPL season 4 is held in Bangalore. Out of the initial 421 cricketers who had expressed an interest to participate in the auction, a short list of 350 cricketers was produced by the various IPL franchises. 72 players were auctioned on day one with the rest going under the hammer today, January 9.
